GRAFENWOEHR, Germany — Army and Air Force Exchange Service will begin streamlining processes to receive shipped items and will open a healthy-option restaurant, according to Grafenwoehr Exchange officials.

When a product is not normally carried or unavailable at the Garmisch Main Store, the Exchange now provides trans-shipment from the Tower Barracks Main Store in Grafenwoehr, which offers a wider range of items. This process speeds up delivery and is at no extra cost to the customer.

The new organizational structure also streamlines the application process.

Additionally, though unrelated, the Garmisch Exchange will open a new Bun-D restaurant Oct. 6 located next to the Garmisch Main Store. Bun-D restaurant offers pitas, salads, smoothies and breakfast. Hours of operations will be Tuesday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 9 am to 6 pm; and closed Sunday and Monday.
