  • Purpose:
    • Receive firsthand accounts of what Soldiers and their families find important in Army housing
    • Gauge satisfaction with property-management services.
  • Army will use info to identify areas that are successful or need improvement, and determine where funding could have the most impact.

 

COST OF LIVING ALLOWANCE

 

  • This year, the U.S. Army has assigned volunteers to determine the Cost of Living Allowance adjustments in Germany.
  • The adjustments will be based on the Retail Price Schedule (RPS). RPS captures 120 market basket prices from the on- and off-base outlets. Conducted every 1
  • The Living Pattern Survey (LPS) determines percentage goods and services purchased on-post vs. off-post. Conducted every 3
  • New COLA will go into effect early 2020.

WINTER WEATHER: SNOW REMOVAL PRIORITIES

 

DPW clearing priorities:

  • Priority 1: Gates and Primary Roadways
  • Priority 2: Customer parking at gyms, PX/Commissary, Helipads and Bldg 244.
  • Secondary Roads and Parking areas are cleared the day following the snow event
  • The contractor clears Netzaberg town center, Netzaberg Road, Grafenwoehr AAF, and parking areas at Rose Barracks schools and clinic
  • Occupants are responsible to clear sidewalks
  • Parking areas and motor pools can be cleared by appointment after vehicles are removed

  • Where: Tower Barracks Physical Fitness Center (Main Gym)
  • Why: Display all opportunities, events, and programs available either on-post or in the surrounding communities to Soldiers and Families. Connect Soldiers and Families with positive community activities and events. Encourage exploration and integration within surrounding communities. Over 50 different organizations invited to participate! We currently have 19 confirmed participants. We will finalize the roster NLT 19 NOV.
