GRAFENWOEHR, Germany — Community family members ages 14 – 22 years old now have the opportunity to gain meaningful job experience here while getting paid.
The Civilian Human Resources Agency Europe Region is accepting applications for the 2016 Army Europe Youth Summer Hire Program through April 15.
There are positions available in the USAG Bavaria footprint, which includes Grafenwoehr, Vilseck, Hohenfels and Garmisch.
The Sumer Hire program provides on-post clerical and laborer positions for U.S. family member dependents ages 14-22. For positions with Child, Youth and School Services, applicants must be at least 16 years old by April 15 and will have to undergo a background check prior to placement.
The Summer Hire period of employment runs June 27 – Aug. 5.

Applicants must submit their application online. In addition, they must provide hard copies of supporting documents, such as W-4 and SF-1199a, directly to the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, or CPAC, that services their community. The CPAC for Grafenwoehr and Vilseck is located on Tower Barracks, bldg. 206, room 103. Applicants in Garmisch and Hohenfels can submit their documents by email to usarmy.grafenwoehr.hqda-cpac.mbx.summerhire@mail.mil.
Family members ages 15-17 who are not U.S. citizens are also eligible to apply for summer employment in accordance with USAREUR Regulation 690-308, Youth Employment Program.
