GRAFENWOEHR, Germany — A week-long summer kids’ event called Roar Vacation Bible School will be hosted at the Garmisch, Netzaberg, Rose Barracks and Hohenfels Chapels of the U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria communities.

At Roar, kids will discover that God is good even when life get wild. Kids sing catchy songs, play games, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Safari Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Kids at Roar VBS will also join a missions effort to provide nutrition packets and health checkups for moms and babies in need in Zambia, Africa.

Roar VBS is for kids age 3 to 12 and will run from 9 a.m. to noon.

VBS is offered at no cost to families, but pre-registration is required.  More information can be found at your local Chapel or on the USAG Bavaria Chaplain Facebook page.
