Bavaria Community and Spouses Club news release 


GRAFENWOEHR, Germany — Bavaria Community and Spouses’ Club and the U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation are partnering to bring the USAG Bavaria community the 12th annual Crown Jewel Bazaar October 4 – 6, 2019, at the Multi-Purpose Center, Bldg. 134, on Rose Barracks.


This bazaar is open to all DoD ID cardholders and takes place Friday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


This three-day event will feature over 40 vendors from throughout Europe selling a variety of unique European items such as antiques, wooden crafts, wines, fine china, cheeses, Italian porcelain, Polish pottery, holiday decor, cosmetic products and more. These vendors come from a variety of countries including Germany, Italy, Poland, England and Belgium.


Community members are encouraged to get their holiday shopping in early and experience the exquisitely crafted products the various vendors have to offer.


Visa, MasterCard, cash and checks will be accepted. Food trucks and fundraising Soldier Family Readiness Groups and private organizations will be on site selling meals and snacks to those who attend.


Funds raised from the Crown Jewel Bazaar directly benefit the community by funding BCSC community grants and scholarships and FMWR operations.


In 2018 – 2019, BCSC awarded more than $93,700 in contributions to the community through community grants and scholarships. Community grant recipients include Soldier Family Readiness Groups, school groups, athletic teams, church groups, educational clubs and community organizations throughout USAG Bavaria.
